Service & Support

Robot loading a CNC grinder

NEMT provides lifecycle service and support for ProGrind CNC grinders, NEMT-built grinding cells, and related automation. From remote diagnostics and onsite service to component repair, rebuilds, training, and planned preventive maintenance, we help customers maintain reliable grinding performance throughout the working life of their equipment.

NEMT technical support begins with practical troubleshooting. Our team works with your personnel by phone and online to review alarms, control issues, process concerns, operating problems, and recent machine changes.

When hands-on assessment is needed, NEMT technicians can provide onsite diagnostics, repair, adjustment, operational testing, and recommendations for follow-up service.

Planned Preventive Maintenance

NEMT provides planned annual preventive maintenance for ProGrind machines, grinding cells, and related automation. The service is intended to help keep equipment in stable operating condition through inspection, lubrication, adjustment, and documented follow-up.

A typical visit includes an on-production assessment to review operating condition, alarms, quality concerns, and machine practices, followed by an offline preventive-maintenance session. The maintenance scope can include mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, lubrication, guarding, safety, axis, ballscrew, spindle, workhead, wiring, hose, and applicable automation-system checks.

Practical Training for Your Team

NEMT delivers practical, on-machine training for operators, setup personnel, supervisors, and teams responsible for integrated automation. Training can cover normal operation, safe startup and shutdown, program selection, loading and unloading, cycle monitoring, alarm response, workholding, wheel dressing, offsets, in-process checks, changeovers, and operator-level maintenance practices.

For systems with robot loading, vision inspection, gauging, or other automation, NEMT training addresses the complete system and its normal operating and recovery procedures.

Each visit includes a written maintenance report documenting checks performed, observations, parts replaced, and recommended follow-up work.
